The trailer had yet to be named as of press time, but Scott Hubble, CEO of nuCamp RV, says it would have its moniker by the time dealers roll into Elkhart. "It's a more traditionally-sized travel trailer, so it's something brand new for nuCamp," he says. "It's a lot of the same type of design, cabinetry inspiration and the lines that you typically associate with us crossed over with the European caravan you typically see." Also new will be a new camper to complement the existing Cirrus. The new Cirrus 670, which will be brought into full pro- duction immediately after Open House, is designed to appeal to owners of half-ton pickups – a growing segment of the market. Hubble says the Cirrus 670 is extremely lightweight and has a number of modern features on the inside. Also on display to get dealer feedback will be a one-piece fiberglass micro travel trailer concept vehicle. The trailer is about 16 feet long and includes a seating and sleeping area, a kitchen and a wet bath. It has a 6-foot ceiling height. During the show, nuCamp will be offering two new packages. The Boondock Lite and Boondock Edge packages will both be available for the T@b and the T@g, but only the Boondock Lite will be available for nuCamp's 400 trailer. Hubble describes the Lite package as a basic off-road package, but touts the extended features of the Edge package. "For instance, on the T@g, instead of just having a diamond-plated tub and platform and pitched axle and off-road tires, you also would see a side-mounted awning, some solar panels, a roof rack and the whole 9 yards," he says. "So, we've got some nice new off-road pack- ages that have been reimagined." will now offer the 2108FBS featuring a 60-by-74 walk-around bed and a dinette capable of seating four. "We believe we have the best Murphy bed in the industry and by popular dealer/retail demand we will now offer it in our Minnie line with the 2201MB," Christoffersen says. "Until now, we've only offered the Murphy Bed in our 7-wide Micro Minnie and will be a welcomed addition to the 8-wide Minnie. We will show the 29DDBH Minnie Plus Travel Trailer, which has opposing slides, an island kitchen, double-over-double bunks, an outside kitchen and sleeping for up to eight. "Our half-ton Minnie Plus fifth wheel will now offer a fam- ily-friendly bunk floorplan with the 29RBH. This double-slide floorplan features a separate bunk room in the rear with three bunks, a U-dinette, a 64-inch sofa, spacious galley and sleeping up to eight," he adds. Winnebago Towables has enhanced the styling of its Minnie Plus travel trailers and fifth wheels with bold exterior colors and a sleek graphics package. nuCamp will showcase a variety of teardrop trailers at its exhibit, including the Boondock Lite (pictured), offering a basic off-road package.
