38 THE SHOP DECEMBER 2018 Disc Brake Pads Centric Parts, Carson, California, offers its next-generation PQ PRO Disc Brake Pads. The innovative pads do not require a break-in period and are designed to eliminate brake fade, improve brake response and reduce excessive noise. PQ PRO features application-specific friction that meets or exceeds original performance specifications to ensure reliable stopping power. The Mu500 friction coating provides an immediate increase in Mu (stopping power) out of the box, while advanced multilayer shims eliminate noise. Gasket Maker Permatex, Hartford, Connecticut, presents The Right Stuff 1 Minute Grey Gasket Maker, an advanced, form-in-place gasket maker that creates a quick, reliable seal without the need for curing time. The Right Stuff Grey's formulation features an elastomeric rubber gasket technology specifically designed to perform under the higher torque loads associated with import vehicle engines that have closely spaced bolt patterns. It is specified by major import OEMs and is resistant to powertrain fluids such as oil, coolant and ATF. Corvette, Camaro & Mustang Fuel Systems Aeromotive Inc., Lenexa, Kansas, offers A1000 and Eliminator Stealth Fuel Systems for many popular Corvette, Camaro and Mustang applications. The all-inclusive systems eliminate confusion and expense by packaging the required matching components in a convenient kit. System options are available for street/strip or race-only applications, including Stealth pumps engineered for the stock fuel tank. Kits contain: in-tank fuel pump; HD wiring harness or billet Fuel Pump Speed Controller; 40-micron high-flow filter assembly; CNC Y-block; and more. Piston Coatings MAHLE, Farmington Hills, Michigan, introduces a new generation of Piston Coatings designed to increase efficiency and minimize emissions. The coatings are intended to guide and reduce the heat entering the pistons, which initially reduces the demand for piston cooling, and the increased exhaust gas temperature allows a higher quantity of energy to be extracted by waste heat recovery (WHR) systems. Meanwhile, optimized piston galleries provide temperature reductions without any negative impact on the aging process of the oil. GM A-Body Headers Hedman Hedders, Whittier, California, offers mid-length big-block Chevy A-Body Headers for 1964-'67 Chevrolet El Camino, Chevelle and other A-body vehicle applications. The headers fit automatic transmission-equipped models and are compatible with A/C and power steering. The shorter, mid-length tube design provides improved ground clearance, particularly for lowered, Pro-Touring-style builds. The headers feature: mandrel-bent, 1-3/4-inch primary tubes; sturdy 3/8- inch header flanges; and popular 3-inch ball/socket-style gasket-free collectors. Mercedes Oil LIQUI-MOLY, Santa Ana, California, introduces new Top Tec 6300 0W-20 oil, officially approved by Mercedes-Benz (MB 229.71). Meeting special requirements for current E-Class and several C- and S-Class Mercedes applications as well as Jaguar and Land Rover models, the low-viscosity oil improves engine efficiency yet ensures lubrication even under extreme conditions. Its low ash designation means combustion residues of the oil do not burden the exhaust gas treatment systems. PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS
