Drivers can get live data updates for traffic information, Sigalerts, road closures and more through third-party apps by connecting the tablet to the vehicle's Bluetooth or 3.5mm auxiliary audio input. The kit includes patent-pending NeoMag Technology designed to blend with OEM dashboards to achieve a factory appearance. Kits are currently available for certain Jeep, Subaru and Ford truck applications. Dual-Lens Dashcam Metra Electronics, Holly Hill, Florida, introduces its first iBEAM Vehicle Safety Systems dual-lens high- definition dashcam, the TE-DVR-DL. The low-profile, 1080p digital video recorder offers a camera for forward-facing recording and a camera for recording the interior of the vehicle. The iBEAM dashcam plugs directly into a standard 12-volt outlet and includes a built-in G-force sensor that detects collisions and automatically locks the captured video to prevent it from being overwritten. It attaches to the windshield with a sliding 3M tape mount. Off-Road & Marine Source Unit Maxxsonics USA, Libertyville, Illinois, introduces the MB Quart GMR-LED off-road and marine multimedia source unit. The 160-watt, AM/ FM/Bluetooth system with USB and Mobile Entertainment Controller provides quick and secure pairing of devices with music libraries, with album art displayed. Dual Audio Zone Capability allows users to control volume in two different areas independently.
