This is the third showroom introduced by Mimaki in Australia. It houses the company's equipment as well as sales person- nel, application specialists and repair technicians. Yorkville, Illinois- based printable fabrics manufacturer Aurora Specialty Textiles Group announces the opening of its new West Coast Fulfillment Center. The company says that to meet the growing demand for its products, it has opened a new facil- ity in Santa Fe Springs, California, in Los Angeles County, to serve as a regional warehouse. Specifically, the company says this new facility will help it meet the grow- ing demand for same-day and next-day delivery of its printable textiles. Marabu North America, Charleston, South Carolina- based maker of screen, digital and pad inks and coatings, announces the opening of a new branch office in Mississauga, Ontario. The new location houses sales, support and warehousing facilities. In addition to offering the full portfolio of products to the Canadian market, Marabu has also been appointed as the official distributor for Italy-based SAATI in the country. This includes SAATI's full lines of mesh, chemicals, equipment, and acces- sories developed for screen printing. South Bend, Indiana-based FDC Graphic Films, a master distributor and converter of graphic films, heat transfer films and wide-format digital media, announces that Kelli Schlottmann has joined the company's sales team as northwest territory sales manager. In her new role, Schlottmann is responsible for FDC's account relationships in that region, which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California and the western part of Canada. Louisville, Kentucky-based N. Glantz & Son, a sign and graphic supplies distributor, announces that Peter Ariens has been named its new president and chief operat- ing officer. The company's owners, Joe Hartman and Davey Glantz, have jumped back into the company and On the Move resumed their day-to-day responsibilities as co-chairman and CEO. Hartman and Davey had stepped away from their day- to-day roles in 2015, and they say they're excited to become involved again and to welcome Ariens into his new role. Dallas-based GSG (Graphic Solutions Group), a supplier to the screen, sign, digital imaging and embroidery industries, announces the promotion of Brandon Smith to vice president of strate- gic sourcing and business development. In his new role, Smith is responsible for the leadership and development of strategic relationships with key suppliers. In addition, GSG announces a new addition to its executive team: Beth Wolf is now the company's vice president of marketing. In her new role, Wolf will over- see efforts to refine its connection to cus- tomers, create go-to market strategies, developing partner marketing initiatives, and creating sales enablement tools. Spencer, Massachusetts- based FLEXcon, a manufac- turer of pressure-sensitive film products, announces the hiring of Harrison Chien as its new vice president of sales, FLEXcon North America. Chien will bring a wealth of experience to his new role, according to FLEXcon North America president, Lavon Winkler. "Harrison comes to us with more than 15 years of experience in the printing, pack- aging and labeling industry as a sales and marketing executive," he says. Fujifilm North America, a divi- sion of the global supplier of drop-on-demand inkjet print- heads for industrial applica- tions, announces the return of Steve Lynn in the new role of director of inkjet sales. In his role, Lynn will be leading all inkjet sales initiatives in the company's commercial and sign and display segments.
