THE LATEST MICRO ADJUSTMENTS Brown Manufacturing Group's Master- Print manual press features Direct Drive x-y-z micro adjustments, side clamps with locking bars, and dual rail platen leveling or single rail supports. These machines are factory assembled. Only clamp and platen rail attachment are necessary upon installation. The preci- sion milled, case hardened steel registra- tion system has a seven-year warranty, as well as sealed roller bearings surround- ing the full-length center shaft and at the print head pivot points. 616-249-0200 DUAL-POINT REGISTRATION Antec Inc offers the Antec Legend, a manual press with a patented dual-point registration index. The USA-made press also features a patented, non-linked, spring-loaded micro screen adjust system; independently registering "floating" print heads; and dual off-contact adjustment. 434-979-2600 4-COLOR/4-STATION Workhorse Products offers the updated Odyssey four color/four-station manual screen printing press. On the rotary floor model, the upper and lower turrets are now made of honeycombed metal. An advanced micro-registration system has been added, which features a capture fork and bearings, the same structure used on the com- pany's automatic presses. The micro-registration system's heavy-duty springs are located underneath the print head, which can be customized to the workload required. Platens are made from a rubber-coated aluminum with a quick-release system. The maximum screen width is 23". Other features include adjustable off-contact, adjustable screen angle, large diameter registration points, and quick-change platens. 800-778-8779 ROLLER-BEARING REGISTRATION The HD-Max from Lawson Screen & Digital Prod- ucts is a manual textile printing press. The HD-MAX has a small 8' diameter, side screen clamps, roller- bearing registration, and almost no platen deflec- tion. A "quick-set" micro-registration is suitable for all types of close-tolerance printing, four-color process, or critical registration jobs, according to the company. The HD-MAX is a no-maintenance machine with steel roller bearings, an individual head alignment tab-to-bearing system, extra-long side screen clamps, One Knob adjustable off-contact, adjustable screen positioning, dual spring tension control on each print head, and variable height platens. Back clamps are also available. The HD-MAX printing press is available in models from one- to eight-stations and colors. Accessories like gas-assisted head lift, pin registration, jacket, sleeve, and cap platens are also available. 314-382-9300 EXPANDABLE PRESS Vastex International now offers its V-1000 line of commercial-grade screen printing presses in fully expandable tabletop and floor standing models from one-station/one-color to as many as six-stations/six-colors. The presses feature all- heads-down printing, rubber coated steel plat- ens, and a floating head design with tool-free micro registration and six-way head leveling. The presses allow for the addition of heavy-duty print heads. The company also manufactures medium-duty V-100 presses in one to four stations and colors, as well as industrial-grade V-2000HD presses in one to 10 stations and colors.
