FEBRUARY 2019 THE SHOP 45 "It's not like a transmission shop where you have to get your transmission repaired and it's a grudge sale," Funk says. "Our employees are happy and excited about these products, and our customers feel that energy." A BRIGHT OUTLOOK As Funk looks to Cap-it's future, he feels optimistic. Cap-it is already set to con- tinue growing in the Dallas-Fort Worth market with its LEER partnership, and both Andrew and Hank Funk expect that initiative to remain a large focus for Cap-it in the coming years. On a personal level, Hank Funk couldn't be happier. Along with Andrew, he also works with his other son, Mason Funk, as well as his daughters-in-law, Kimberly Funk and Brenda Funk. For Hank Funk, working with his family is a pleasure, and he considers himself the "luckiest guy around." AMANDA MCGRORY-DIXON is a Denver- based freelance writer. She can be con- tacted at amandakmcgrory@gmail.com. A variety of accessories on display allows customers to build vehicles that reflect their active lifestyle, which not only personalizes the shopping experience but also inspires them to think about additional possibilities. • SINGLE ROW COMBO LED LIGHT BAR • 16-GAUGE STEEL LIGHT HOUSING • ADJUSTABLE CENTER LED BAR LETS YOU DIRECT LIGHT BEAM AS PREFERRED • BOLT-ON INSTALLATION - NO DRILLING REQUIRED VISIT: WESTINAUTOMOTIVE.COM FOLLOW:#WESTINAUTOMOTIVE CALL: (800) 345-8476 HDX LED GRILLE NOW AVAILABLE FOR JEEP JL Westin_JEEP-LED-Grille_The-Shop_7-125 x4-875_121218.indd 1 12/12/18 3:10 PM
