If it is a small, family-run business, they may want a more creative and homier feel to their signage. If you are doing replacement signage for a larger business, take some time to research what they already have so you can match the current signage and décor. Oftentimes, businesses have a budget, so make sure to ask that so you have a base to start from. You can also try your hand at signage for places like restaurants. Eateries need several different types of signage: front door signs, tabletop menus, wayfinding for rest- rooms, and name badges for employees. You could wrap their tables in vinyl or even provide coasters, bottle openers, or aprons with their business name as add-on items. Starting with one idea can blossom into a multitude of projects. Another way to branch out is by offering vinyl lettering on cars, or magnetic sig- nage for vehicles to promote a business.
