The event offers networking, education, and business opportunities for individuals in multiple industries includ- ing sign and digital graphics, apparel decorating and awards and engraving. This year's schedule features two first-ever cities on the roster: Sacramento, California; and Cleveland. Sacramento takes place April 13–14, while Cleveland runs June 15–16. The Ohio show also offers a new opportunity for embroiderers, with the Embroidery & Digitizing Conference. Presented by the National Network of Embroidery Professionals (NNEP), some educational sessions will be held the day prior to the exhibit hall opening and more during THE NBM SHOW. The conference takes place at both the Cleveland and Indianapolis (Sept. 13–15) stops of the show. In addition to collaborations with NNEP, THE NBM SHOW presents WRAPSCON during the Long Beach, California show, Aug. 2–4. The WRAPSCON program offers exclusive opportunities for vehicle wraps and graphic installation professionals. Epson America Merges with Epson Electronics Epson America, a global leader in printing technology, announces its plans to merge with its sister com- pany Epson Electronics America, effective April 1. Both companies are currently wholly owned subsidiaries of Japan-based Seiko Epson Corp. The parent company says this merger positions Epson's micro device busi- ness for continued long-term growth by integrating EEA, which makes the company's semiconductors and crystals, into state-of-the art infrastructure and operational systems that can accommodate future business expansion plans. After the merger, EEA will cease to exist as a legal entity but its entire business will continue to operate under EAI (Epson America Inc.). In other Epson news, the firm announces that Epson and CIT Direct Capital, the national digital small business lending unit of CIT Group, announces a part- nership to offer financing for commercial and digital print customers. The partnership allows CIT Direct Capital to provide Epson dealers, channel partners, resellers and customers a primary source of financ- ing through a single point of contact. SAi Announces Nationwide Training Workshops Salt Lake City-based SAi (SA International), a provider of software solu- tions for industries includ- ing sign-making, large- format digital printing and CAD/CAM for machining, announces a full slate of training workshops being held in various cities in 2018. The workshops will focus on the company's EnRoute software. The two-day work- shops are designed to help customers get the most out of their CNC machines using EnRoute. Workshop events are scheduled over the course of the year in the following cities: San Francisco, San Antonio, Chicago, Charlotte, Boston, Seattle, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. According to the company, the program is designed to offer CNC woodworking, signmaking and archi- tectural millwork companies, as well as those within the nested-based manufacturing and fabrication industries. Those interested in attending SAi's EnRoute Workshops are encouraged to sign-up early to ensure availability.
