This gave us a thin to thick to thin line weight. In the Stroke Palette, we added points to increase the size and created several paths to build multiple variations throughout the character. Perfect cartoon technique. The paths in outline mode were just simple lines, but once we applied the new brush to them, it filled out the definition. Since Glitch is dark, we colored some lines royal blue and filled the hoodie with green leaving some line work black. We applied shadows with darker tones to imply a little form while still using the black substrate as fill. This would ultimately print with less ink to make for a nice hand and drape. We moved the image over to Adobe Photoshop for some air brushing and to build the white printer. We reduced some of the opacities and removed some of the base under colors to add more tones to our light and shadow areas. We added a highlight and chose contact blue to give a moon glow to the black wolf by selecting royal blue for a mask where we painted the bright contrast areas. We set our Airbrush feature on low percentages so we could build values up. For some shadows, we kept the clean edges, but for the fleece hoodie, we wanted a softer edge and used the Feather Tool in the Select Menu under Mo- front. And, of course, no pants. A nose ring and an ear rod with a set of headphones were also necessary. One floppy ear, a big bushy tail, and a few tears rounded out the details. Not specific at all. Once our pencils were complete, we scanned and placed the drawing in Adobe Illustrator. The application of the line work broke up areas for colorization since Glitch was mostly black. The varying weights in the lines were done with the Brushes Pal- ette. For our custom brush, we used the El- lipse Tool to make a circle. Using the Free Transform option in the Tool Palette, we squeezed it down to a thin oval. With the Brushes Palette open, we selected that shape
