Distributor Show Coverage 108 • RV PRO • March 2019 rv-pro.com A F T E R M A R K E T LAS VEGAS – A move from the Gulf Coast to the Las Vegas Strip seemed to provide a jolt of energy to the annual distributor show hosted in mid-January by Omaha-based Arrow Distributing. During the opening two-hour walkthrough preview on opening night, supplier booths were swarmed by potential customers anxious to see new products and renew acquaintances. It was all some representatives could do to keep up with the flow of visitors during that period. With the larger venue at Bally's Las Vegas, Arrow was able to accommodate more vendors than in past years – 120 were showing their wares Tuesday evening and all day Wednesday – and handle a 20 percent boost in the number of dealers attending the show. There also were 18 vendor seminars during Tuesday's por- tion of the show as opposed to 12 the previous year. Some of the information from the seminars also was offered Monday to help Arrow's staff get fully up to speed ahead of the show. As of about mid-afternoon Wednesday, sales for the show were higher than had been recorded at the previous year's show, as well. Arrow's husband-and-wife leadership team of Andy and Andrea Mullin said they were pleased with the turnout and results, especially in light of RV manufacturers reporting slower sales over the past six months. "A lot of those are new dealers to Arrow – not just dealers who chose to go the show this year," Andy Mullin said. Arrow wins over its customers at its annual distributor show with special pricing, a personal touch of customer service and an energetic venue. Team Arrow celebrates the completion of the 2019 show with a group photo. The show saw a record number of vendors and 20 percent increase in the number of dealers attending over last year.
