128 • RV PRO • March 2019 rv-pro.com B U S I N E S S A little more than a year ago, Tara Sage and her partner, Carl Oliver, made a fateful decision when they downsized their belongings, ended their lease, bought a 20-foot travel trailer and hit the road to become full- time RV nomads. Today, Sage and Oliver are showing Millennials and others how it's done through their Nomadic Living 101 video instruction series – and offering RV dealers the opportunity to tap into a revenue source in the process. Adopting the Nomadic RV Lifestyle Even before her decision to become a full-time RVer, Sage had always enjoyed traveling. Her career as a life coach allowed her to work from anywhere in the world. Although Sage took this opportunity at times to travel and work remotely, she still felt tied down to a home. Often, she found herself back home sooner than she would have liked and she says she ached for the kind of lifestyle that would give her complete freedom to travel. Ultimately, it was a quote from author Gloria Steinem, "Birds need a nest, and they still fly" that sparked Sage to act and pursue her dream.
