Additionally, RVBusiness magazine is sponsoring the RISE (Rec- ognizing Innovation and Supplier Excellence) Awards, designed to honor the best and most innovative new products marketed by RV industry suppliers for the 2019 model year. RVBusiness intends to honor one winner and four runners up in two catego- ries: OEM and aftermarket. RVIA Optimistic on RVX Crawford and Greene say the extensive amount of preparations for RVX is paying off. They note that exhibit space is completely booked and that exhibitors are expressing optimism about the upcoming event. On the dealer side, a number of the industry's bigger players have committed to attending. "A lot of the dealers that we have talked to, who represent a lot of the buying power in this industry, have already registered and are encouraging their dealer peers to attend as well," Greene says. "So, there's some good things happening there." Still, Crawford and Greene acknowledge it's taken a concerted effort to build support for RVX, simply because it's a much different event than the old Louisville show. "This event is somewhat similar to Louisville, in that there is an exhibit hall floor, order writing, education and the like. However, it's unlike Louisville in a lot of ways, too," says Greene, adding that RVX will be defined by enhancements and greater value. "We're really excited for the event," Crawford says. "For the folks that come out, we really believe in the strategy and value that they're going to get. If there's one message, it's come to RVX, have an open mind, and it will make a difference for your business."
