2 0 1 9 A P R I L P R I N T W E A R 1 3 The team coordinator is the final 'forgotten' role. The team coordinator has several important duties. Some of them include assisting the team leader in scheduling meeting space and times, documenting the team activities in the minutes, and submitting reports to the sponsor on the team's progress. The coordinator's duties parallel the adminis- trative support of a secretary, but anyone could fill the role. The position may also be rotated among the general team membership. Regard- less, the responsibility of the team coordinator is designed to take the pressure off the team leader, thus freeing him or her up to concentrate on the larger issues. CATCH THE TEAM SPIRIT The advantages of forming or being a part of a team far outweigh the prospect of having to tackle a task alone. Take some time to observe and recognize the prac- tices of dominant, high-performing teams, such as the Patriots and Golden State Warriors. These teams spent countless hours devising a strategy and discipline that would permit them to achieve victory. Invest your time in replicating success- ful team practices. It is your business' best shot to becoming World Champions. Good luck!
