St. Augustine Vehicle Wraps regularly works with a local children's hospital to wrap helmets for babies with plagiocephaly, a medical condition that results in a misshapen head. Babies with plagiocephaly are typically given nondescript white helmets, but Pete Lumpkins wraps the helmets with personalized designs, such as butterflies, rocket ships or aviator pilots, to uplift the families' spirits. St. Augustine Wraps has also closely worked with local law enforcement agencies, which has been a rewarding experience, Ashley Lumpkins says. Recently, St. Augustine Wraps com- pleted a project for a police athletic league that advocates for better relationships with local youth, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. "I loved getting to partner with our law enforcement and being able to promote them on our website and through our social media because we weren't just promoting our work but also our support for local law enforcement," Ashley Lumpkins says. "It definitely created a deeper connection to our local community, and we saw a huge response, espe- cially other law enforcement agencies." Moving Forward As the Lumpkins look to St. Augustine Vehicle Wraps' future, they're looking to take their business to the next level, particularly when it comes to growing staff. By the end of the year, Ashley Lumpkins say she hopes to hire a full-time installer, which will allow St. Augustine Vehicle Wraps to take on more jobs at a time and pursue fleet customers. The Lumpkins have already made a name for themselves and developed meaningful relationships with the community in the short time since they launched their business. With a growing mindset, St. Augustine Vehicle Wraps is well-positioned to continue finding success in this new venture. SDG
