RVX Show Coverage Salt Lake City to celebrate the finale of the first RVX: The RV Experience. RVIA presented the Distinguished Service to the RV Industry Award to Bruce Hopkins, a longtime RVIA executive. "Bruce's contributions to the RV industry and to RVIA span an incredible 40 years and cannot be understated," RVIA Chairman Garry Enyart said. "As vice president of industry stan- dards, he is the godfather of the Industry Standards Inspection Program – one of RVIA's core functions that impacts virtually every manufacturer, buyer, dealer and RV consumer." Earlier this year it was announced that Hopkins will be a member of the 2019 class of the RV/MH Hall of Fame. The David J. Humphrey RV Industry Unity Award was presented to Wells Fargo CDF's Bob Parish, who previously served as RVIA chairman. "In his distinguished career in the RV wholesale financing market and in his dedicated service as an RV Industry Asso- ciation volunteer, he has steadfastly worked to build under- standing cooperative relationships among RV manufacturers and dealers," Enyart said.
