rv-pro.com May 2019 • RV PRO • 63 You don't sell boats unless you know something about boats. On the RV side, most people know what they are asking for and what fits their budget." "There are technicians on the RV side and the marine side. There's not a lot on the marine side that's technical. Some stuff I hire out. I've got eight or nine people out in the back, then I have three salespeople and I sell myself. "On the marine side, I attend two shows a year in Jacksonville. I don't do anything on the RV side. No trade shows. Because we don't sell new RVs, you can't just call up and say, 'I need 10 or 15 more of these. We have to go out and get our stuff. Everyone is tired of being cooped up inside. "A year ago we did a nine-week run on the Nitro Bass Boats and Walleye Boats. We did a Nitro reveal for two nights by invitation only between Christmas and New Year's. And in a blizzard and snowstorm, we still had about 30 people each night here to look at the boats.
