Mitchell Grindley, who has been the company's president and CEO since 2015, will continue to serve as CEO and work closely with Short moving forward. Short comes to Plaskolite from Polymershapes, where he was President and CEO for more than two years. Before that, he spent 13 years with Laird Plastics (later North American Plastics) in a variety of sales and executive leadership positions. Euless, Texas-based full service sign and graphics company Federal Heath will have new leadership at the top at the end of this year for the first time in almost three decades. President and CEO Kevin Stotmeister has already declared that he will retire at the end of 2019. He promoted executive vice president and chief executive vice president and chief operat- ing officer Sid Rasnick to fill his shoes. Roselle, Illinois-based screen printing equipment manufacturer The M&R Companies announces the promotion of Thomas Trimingham to market- ing communications manager. Trimingham has more than 28 years of screen printing experi- ence and has been with M&R for two years. His background includes design, separation, fine art, consulting, marketing and writing for the industry. Portugal-based MTEX NS, makers of wide-format dye sub- limation printers geared toward multiple markets, including signs and graphics, announces the appointment of Michael Ring as its new CEO. Elói Ferreira, founder and now former CEO, will assume the role of executive president. At the same time, the company has adopted a new corpo- rate identity, MTEX NS, as in "new solution." Previously it had been known as MTEX Solutions. The company says that in recent years it has gone through a period of significant investments, positioning itself for what it says will be "a period of significant global expansion and business growth—one of the main reasons for the new CEO's integration." Ring has some 30 years of experience in the printing industry. Italy-based Biesse, a manufacturer of CNC machinery for wood, plastics, metal and engi- neered materials with North American locations in Charlotte, North Carolina; Anaheim, California; and Toronto, Canada; announces the promotion of Niki Kaltsounis-Kampiziones to chief operating officer for Biesse and Intermac, its distributor in North America.
