The IDWraps team surveyed the cart fixtures, then pro- vided the St. Luke's creative team with a precision-scaled CAD template for each side to be wrapped. In the next step, Kara DeBoeser (St. Luke's graphic designer) created the beautiful layout and print files. We then printed the artwork on our HP L365 printers on 3M IJ180MC films, and then finished the prints with 3M 8518 gloss overlaminate. Due to the high wear factor on the carts, we went right for the premium materials. The removable adhesive is also ideal, as we are anticipating the need to occasionally replace panels as the carts get banged around in the busy hospital setting. The laminated pressboard construction of the carts allows for good adhesion and removal without damage to the surfaces. The installation was very straight forward, as any experi- enced installer would view a flat panel application. Our pro- duction team made sure to place sensible bleeds (1" on all sides of each facet) for an efficient installation. The carts were then wrapped onsite at each hospital campus. We consider St. Luke's to be a leader in the design innova- tion realm.
