"He asked for a rust/patina wrap, and I designed it with the vision of the car sitting next to a warehouse in Atlanta, rusting away with one side exposed to more sun than the other. The passenger side shows darker elements of rust with some implication of black mold as well. Brian And Megan Allen of All Wrapped Up Atlanta brought me into this project. After the design was finished, Chrissy and I drove to Atlanta to spend the week producing and installing the wrap. I did color management on their Roland printer to match the one-of-a-kind custom wheels that owner Chris Hawkins had made for his car. All lights were pulled, front bumper, door handles and other items to ensure the wrap went deep. Door handles were also printed separately to continue the design on to the handles with perfect registration. The design was also shortened by 3" on the bumpers so that the sides would match and the design would wrap around. All in all, this project was a blast. Brian and Megan are the true spirit of what owning a wrap company is all about. We were honored to work with them."
