MADE -IN-THE- USA W hile the standards can be a bit vague and the nomenclature and labeling a bit confusing, there are ways to figure out if a product is American made. If you are a business that sells "Made in America" products, you'll likely want to advertise this as well. A United States Non-Governmental Organi- zation called CERTIFIED Inc. is the certification source for "Made in the USA" or "Product of USA" claims. Products that pass CERTIFIED Inc.'s criteria are awarded the "100% US Con- tent" label. You can also search directories that list companies that supply "Made in America" products. If you are a company that offers such products, it would be a good idea to get added to those directories.
