The business has provided for the couple's livelihood over the past 16 years. And just as importantly to the Bursons, it has provided them with a way to assist an organization they strongly believe in – The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, which deploys volunteer chaplains in RVs to areas hit by storms, fires, floods, major accidents, mass shootings and other disasters. For the Bursons, their aid takes the form of custom-equipped travel trailers that they sell at cost to the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team and then service those the campers when they come back from deployment. "I'm blessed to do it," Butch Burson says simply. "God never called me to go to a disaster; he just tells me, 'You take care of their equipment.'" The Rapid Response Team, which is part of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, teams up with Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse organization, which deploys teams of volun- teers to help with cleanup and rebuilding at those sites. "We always go together," says Jack Munday, international director of the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team. "The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team and Samaritan's Purse – whenever there's a natural disaster – we're joined at the hip. "We deploy with Samaritan's Purse, and together we seek to help meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people," he says.
