It is led by President Art Klee. Improving the RV Experience Following Rutherford's three pil- lars, all three presidents are firmly com- mitted to bringing new products to the marketplace. "We're really focused on the RVer expe- rience," Rutherford says. "We don't specif- ically develop products for an OEM path or an aftermarket path; we try to create products to improve the RVer experience, and whatever the best means to get those to the customers is what we pursue." Rob Leach, president of Airxcel's RV Products division that makes products under the Coleman-Mach and Maxxair brands, says his division has come out with at least 14 new products over the last 18 months aimed at the RV experience. While Leach declines to single out any one product as leading the way, it's perhaps a testament to the cooperation between the divisions that Wollschlager believes the most-significant develop- ment is a new line of cooking appliances – produced by Suburban. "We've had multiple launches within my division (Dicor and MCD), including two new roofing systems, two new window coverings and a new FRP (fiber- glass-reinforced plastic) for the OEMs," he says. "But the cooking launch has been significant." Klee won't argue with that. "We just did a complete facelift to our slide-in range line," Klee says. "The strategy behind it is to give the customer the right product for the type of coach it's going into. It's a good, better, best scenario. You can change these to offer conventional burners or sealed burners, Aqua-Hot's manufacturing facility combines state-of-the- art technology and hands-on labor by a skilled workforce. different colored knobs, different col- ored handles, different faceplates, with or without glass covers.
