J osie and Joe Caban have worked together at ASA since before they were married, but that doesn't mean they take their jobs or rela- tionship for granted. Joe is an operations manager who started at ASA in 2013. Josie is a customer service super- visor who started in 2014. Josie says the best thing about working together is being able to watch each other grow in their respective roles – that and being able to have lunch together when the situation makes that possible. "We don't have to explain back stories about our jobs and because of that, we don't take work home with us," she says. Though both have worked their way into leadership roles, they also know how temporary success can be in the RV industry. "If something were to happen economically, it would greatly impact our household," she says. But for the immediate future, things look bright for the Cabans. "We both have flourished here at ASA and really enjoy what we do here. ASA is a great company to work for," Josie says J eff and Jennifer Gray once worked for the same company in the RV industry. But although they work at different ends of the supplier spectrum now – Jeff as national sales manager RV and trailering for ASA Electronics and Jennifer as sales and executive administration for Patrick Industries – they still can relate to each others' careers on a personal level. Jeff says having that understanding of his wife's day-to-day routine and the ups and downs of the industry and vice versa is the best part of working in the same industry. It also helps that the industry brought them together in the first place. "We originally met while working together at ASA," he says." We are now married with two wonderful daughters." Still, knowing that if the industry takes a downturn it means tough times for both of them leaves the couple a little more unsettled than if their employment was more diversified. But they've also been down that road before. "We both started at ASA at a young age," Jeff says. "We met there. I left to pursue my own non-competing business and returned several years ago. Jennifer went to Patrick from ASA more than 17 years ago."
