38 THE SHOP AUGUST 2019 Heat & Sound Protection Thermo-Tec, Greenwich, Ohio, presents Thermo Guard FR heat and sound control shields that offer complete in-vehicle protection by reducing sound, absorbing vibration, blocking radiant heat up to 1,500 degrees and providing an extra layer of insulating padding. Trim the lightweight, durable shields to fit an infinite number of applications in cars, trucks, RVs, buses, aircraft and even homes. The shields feature 100-percent synthetic fiber felt that delivers sound and comfort control, and a high-tech foil heat barrier that blocks more than 90 percent of radiant heat. Wrangler JL Intake Holley Performance Products, Bowling Green, Kentucky, presents iNTECH cold-air intakes, including an application for 2018-'19 3.6-liter V-6-powered Jeep Wrangler JL models. The systems create as much as 24 hp and 22 foot-pounds of torque over the factory air intake system across a wide rpm band. The filter media features inner and outer aluminum mesh, eliminating filter deformation and rust. A vertical filter position aids in helping filters shed dust on the trail. The housing design is styled to match the rest of the engine compartment. Performance Seat Procar by SCAT, Redondo Beach, California, presents its Touring Seat for performance applications including Pro-Touring, muscle cars, pony cars, trucks and more. White stitching and a stylish diamond- shaped quilted center add aesthetics to any vehicle interior. VW/Audi Front Lower Control Arms Redranger USA, Ontario, California, presents Whiteline Front Lower Control Arms for Volkswagen Golf MK VII and Audi A3/S3 MK 3 applications. The front lower control arms feature high- quality alloy for weight savings, and significant geometry gains with -0.3-degree camber and +2.0-degree caster improvements. Proprietary synthetic elastomer bushings optimize wheel alignment settings for a precise steering feel in street and track performance use. Atlas Raising Coil-Over System H&R Special Springs, Bellingham, Washington, introduces a Raising Coil-Over system for Volkswagen Atlas models. The system adjusts the lift to approximately 1.25 inches in the front and rear for added ground clearance. Progressive spring rates and specific digressive valved shocks retain ride comfort and handling. Coated Bearings MAHLE, Farmington Hills, Michigan, offers a new Polymer Coating for its Engine Bearings. The coating increases resilience and reduces friction, allowing the bearings to withstand increased loads from emission-control measures such as stop-start systems, hybrid operation or coasting function. The new polymer coating with melamine cyanurate recently developed by MAHLE improves the characteristics of bearings in combustion engines. PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS
