SEPTEMBER 2019 THE SHOP 57 TRF's greatest challenge currently is growth management, which Thompson agrees is a good problem to have. The new shop is a big step, allowing TRF to perform even more mechanical repair services and a wider variety of custom performance car fabrication offerings than what was possible in the small garage. "Above all, I just want to keep doing my thing; keep welding cool cars and improving my skills and knowledge as a car builder," he says. Thompson is too busy getting his hands dirty to focus much on social media, but he manages to post relevant content once or twice per week. "It has been fun to watch our engagement grow over the past decade," he says. "Above all, I just want to keep doing my thing; keep welding cool cars and improving my skills and knowledge as a car builder," Thompson says. • Axial weld-bonding pliers eliminate provisional welding. • Straight line axial motion allows versatile offset clamping. • One hand clamping operation and release is fast and easy. • Forged steel construction extends tool life. • Durable finishes resist welding splatter. Six axial, weld-bonding pliers secure all types of joints to make welding easier for metal workers, autobody technicians and sheet metal fabricators. Make fast, accurate welds, even in tight spaces.
