68 THE SHOP NOVEMBER 2019 T he impressive builds that make it into our annual Project Vehicle Sketchbook all have one thing in common—they all took an incredible amount of time, effort and ability to complete. Special thanks to this year's sponsors: Meyer Distributing, Bestop and Westin Automotive. Like always, the creations you see in this collection are finally finished or at least close to being done, ready to make their debuts at the SEMA Show or another automotive-related event in the near future. The builders and supporters are about to have their dreams realized—something that started in someone's imagination has become a reality. The inspiration that comes from viewing these fin- ished products is what keeps our industry moving forward. Even now, builders are looking at the current crop of projects and thinking to themselves, "That gives me an idea…" For instance, a creative team at Meyer Distributing is working on initial plans for a year-long Jeep build that will be displayed at the 2020 SEMA Show and given away at Easter Jeep Safari 2021. Jeep build part- ners Bestop, Warn Industries, Rock Krawler, Artec Industries and Fab Fours have already signed on, and details for participation from other manufacturers are being worked on. The Jeep will be outfitted at five different shops across the country, with THE SHOP's eNewsletter providing progress updates throughout the year. It will be an inside glimpse at what all is involved in building a proper show vehicle. So, when you flip through the pages of this Sketch- book or see some of these creations in person at SEMA or elsewhere, take a minute to appreciate the time and effort it took to bring them to life. After all, you can't rush greatness. 68 THE SHOP NOVEMBER 2019 presented by: booth #36227 When time & effort finally pay off. 2016 JEEP JK Superwinch Trail Warrior is a two-door 2016 Jeep JK build designed by Daley Visual in Corona, California.
