76 THE SHOP NOVEMBER 2019 2019 JEEP WRANGLER JL A two-door 2019 Jeep Wrangler featuring a bevy of Rugged Ridge products will be displayed in booth #30024 at the 2019 SEMA Show. Key products include the company's patent-pending fender flares with custom daytime running lights, Arcus front bumper, HD tire carrier that handles up to a 40-inch wheel and tire combo, Fortis tube doors and patented HD modular snorkel. Other highlights include a 4-inch Superlift lift kit with King Shocks and 39-inch BFGoodrich KM3 tires. 2015 FORD F-150 CREW CAB Jesse Brown, brand manager for Raptor Series Automotive Products, sends information on the company's matte black 2015 Ford F-150 Crew Cab project truck that highlights the company's step products. See it in the Raptor Series booth #32193 at the 2019 SEMA Show. Participants include: Magnum Truck Gear (bumpers), OffGrid (overland rack), DECKED (truck bed storage), RotopaX (gas & storage packs), Hi-Lift Jack Co. (jack) and MAXTRAX (recovery traction boards). 1969 SHELBY GT500 Classic Design Concepts (CDC) in Milford, Michigan introduces the 1969 Shelby GT500 Respec project. This Shelby's build ethos is "Respec Your Elders" in context to how the restoration is going. The rare one-of-nine 1969 GT500 is painted Gulf Stream Aqua and paired with a parchment interior. With respect to its inherent rareness, the car is getting a cosmetic restoration with modern underpinnings to make it fun to drive without losing its original vintage appeal. The Shelby will be getting a full RideTech coil-over setup, and the drivetrain is getting respec'd starting with a Holley Performance Products Terminator EFI system for its original numbers-matching 428 Cobra Jet engine. Using Modern Driveline Components to mate the 428 to a TREMEC TKO transmission makes a huge improvement over the original top-loader 4-speed. Wilwood disc brakes provide massive stopping power, especially when compared to the original drum brakes. Lastly, Drake Automotive Group wheels maintain the vintage Shelby aesthetic.
