2 0 1 9 N O V E M B E R P R I N T W E A R 1 5 pletely used as a knockout to allow the shirt to show through, and for others we decreased some of the ink percentages in each plate for some cool halftones that only added to the interest. We also mixed in some muted whites by only having that information on the white printer of the base-plate and not on the top white, which usually gives a nice bright white when the two print on top of one another. During our assessment of the composite, we had issues with certain text, so we manually erased areas of conflict. We also had several points of solid opacity and light tones in our col- ors. Due to the amount of textures in this design, the white base plate had the most removal of ink deposit because we didn't want translucency or white ink peeking out from underneath the colors. By selecting the textures compiled all together, we deleted a lot of information to choke back the base as well by expanding the selection by one pixel and deleting it out of the information that makes up all the color printing on top. We output on CTS at 50 lpi and 22.5 degrees. For an all-over soft hand and drape we chose 230 tpi (threads per inch) at 30 N/cm2 for everything. EOM (Emulsion Over Mesh) percentages were all at 12 to 15. Our squeegees were all 75/90/75 triple-ply dual durometer
