The RV Industry Association (RVIA) can- celled the National RV Trade Show in 2018. It then launched a new show in Salt Lake City called RVX: The Experience. Exhibitors there reported low attendance, and RVIA subsequently put the show on indefinite hold. The changes left suppliers without an all-encompassing industry event. "Louisville is gone and RVX is in flux. There are no other major distributor shows. There is no real time for suppliers to get together with vendors," Later said. "We would love to see the RV/MH supplier event evolve into a bigger show like Louisville was 10 years ago." Johnson added, "The new supplier events are a no-brainer. We've always felt this is where they should be. This is where the dealers are buying." "It's much easier to have a show in Elkhart, where most of the OEMs reside. It's harder to get access to people when you are away from the OEM," said Jon Jordan, president and CEO of Yak Power. At the RSVE exhibit, Katie Lentine, vice president of busi- ness development for United States Warranty Corporation, said, "We don't have RVIA now, so we need this additional event." Equalizer Systems has supported both supplier events since their onset. Nick Godfrey, outside sales for the company, said the RV/MH event "feels a lot like the RVIA show. There has always been a question of where do we as suppliers fit? To have this is great. It feels like we are all part of the same industry again." New Product Debuts & More Some exhibitors felt so positive about the events, they chose them to debut new products. Dometic came out in a big way at the Hall of Fame, using a virtual reality system to showcase the company's new kitchen Exhibitors at the Hall of Fame say the event provided them with good opportunities to speak with dealers and their fellow exhibitors.
