rv-pro.com December 2019 • RV PRO • 33 The company is finalizing its ISO 14001 certification for sustainability processes, and Swan says Ultrafabrics has stated its goal is to have 50 percent of its new products between now and 2025 be either bio-based or recycled, and by 2030 the goal is to have 100 percent of all new prod- ucts meet either of those two criteria. It's a commitment that's carried throughout all of Ultra- fabrics' operation. The company has done everything from reducing the amount of packaging it uses for its products, to using recycled content in its marketing collateral, to elimi- nating disposable cups in its facilities. "Not only are we getting good feedback from our cus- tomers, but if you look at the furniture side of our business in Europe, it's expected," Swan says. "It's the way a lot of European companies are doing business, so we've stepped up our game a bit." Is it a trend that will move into the RV market in this country? Swan says that being a global company working with multiple markets, Ultrafabrics' teams tend to have a good sense of what's going on, and the company works with trend forecasters as well to keep it on top of what's happening in areas such as art, architecture and fashion design. It's just one more way that Ultrafabrics works to meet and exceed the designer community's expectations. "Our goal is to give designers as many crayons as possible to work with," Bernstein says. "We're always expanding the collections under our brands and willing to share what we've learned from other markets regarding what we see as trends. We want to be informed, trusted advisors to our clients, which are key elements of our value proposition." Select Winnebago product cab seats, sofas and lounges are covered in premium Ultraleather fabric.
