44 a-e-mag.com • A&E JANUARY 2020 DESIGNS CreativeStudio saves you countless hours of searching for designs, particu- larly ones that you can legally use. You have access to exclusive designs created for CreativeStudio customers. They are royalty-free, so no worries about copyright infringement. What that means to you is that you can print and sell as many of your substrates, with the design you choose to put on it, without having to pay a premium for an extended license. Sawgrass keeps its site updated and is continually adding new designs monthly. There are two drop-down design menus to choose from: Designs and Images. Designs are fully customizable ready-made artwork. Images are designs that you can build your artwork with, such as shapes, flowers, or other things like animals. When looking for a specific design, it is quite easy as there are categories in the drop- down menu, as well as a search bar in the righthand corner. You also have the option to upload your designs or a customer's artwork using the image uploader. You can find the Upload feature under the drop-down menu of Images in the top lefthand corner. CLOUD-BASED When using CreativeStudio, the internet is necessary to access the designs and software. One of the best features of having a cloud-based program is that it doesn't take up a lot of space on your hard drive. Your designs are saved online with unlimited storage space. It is also good to have your artwork in the same location, where the designs are easily accessible. In addition, it is convenient if you have a customer who repeatedly orders the same substrate and design from you. Step eight. Step nine: follow the numbers for the correct process order. Step ten: once you print and press, you have your final project.
