32 THE SHOP JANUARY 2020 Poly Crossover Toolbox Dee Zee Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, presents the Poly Crossover Toolbox. The toolbox is available in two sizes—70-inch to fit full-size trucks and 63-inch to fit mid-size trucks. Made of resilient poly material, it combines the functionality of a crossover toolbox with the benefits of hardened poly plastic. With a double-wall lid and cross-center support, the box won't sag or dent. Gladiator Lock Technology BOLT Locks, Milwaukee, introduces a product line of Locks specifically designed to work with the ignition key of Jeep Gladiators. Each lock uses Breakthrough One-Key Lock Technology to permanently program to the vehicle's ignition key upon the first insertion and rotation. The line includes 5/8-inch receiver locks, coupler pins, 6-foot cables, off- vehicle coupler and collar kingpin locks. ABS 4x4 Emblems American Car Craft, Hudson, Florida, offers a two-piece 4x4 Black ABS Emblem Set fabricated from premium stainless steel and layered with durable black ABS and then finished with a stainless steel bezel trim in either a brushed or polished finish. Made from 100% 304 stainless steel with ABS inlay, the emblems can be used on any 4x4, Jeep or truck and won't tarnish, fade or rust. They measure 16-3/8-by-3-1/4 inches. Mobile Towing Scale CURT, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, introduces BetterWeigh, a Bluetooth-enabled, smartphone- compatible mobile towing scale. The innovative, compact device plugs into the vehicle's diagnostic port (OBD-II) and measures the real-time weight of the vehicle and trailer, cargo/payload, tongue weight, pin weight, weight distribution and trailer brake gain, displaying them on an Apple or Android phone. The system is powered by TowSense technology—an accelerometer that measures changes in force and acceleration to provide a live readout. RESTYLING PRODUCTS Ranger Performance Suspension Systems Radflo Suspension Technology, Fountain Valley, California, introduces Performance Suspension Components for 2019-up Ford Ranger models. The front 2.5-inch-diameter coil-overs and rear 2.5-inch-diameter shocks improve performance and ride quality. The larger shock diameter allows for more oil flow through the piston, which in turn delivers better damping and cooling. The shocks are built to the same tolerances and quality as the company's race-proven off-road shocks and bolt directly onto the vehicle. JK Tailgate Lockbox Tuffy Security Products, Cortez, Colorado, introduces its Model #359 heavy-duty tailgate security lockbox, designed to store gear in 2007-'18 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU models equipped with any type of hard or soft top. The lockbox measures 6-by- 33.6-by-14.5 inches and attaches to the inside of the tailgate. A fold- down door, which supports up to 40 pounds, can be used as a worktable. Two removable shelves are provided to organize smaller items. 8-Foot Awning Overland Vehicle Systems, Santa Fe Springs, California, introduces the Nomadic Awning 2.5, a quick- deploying, 8-foot awning that can be operated by one person and provides 69 square feet of shelter. Manufactured out of 280G poly cotton rip-stop material, the awning's seams are heat-sealed against leaks. The neutral color complements any vehicle, and the awning mounts to factory or aftermarket roof racks, sets up quickly and stows away in minutes.
