The Pantone Color Institute, which has been selecting a Color of the Year (COY) for over 20 years, has been working well ahead, selecting not only the 2020 Color the Year, but also providing a strong 12-color palette of hues that you will notice everywhere. While the colors were announced in alignment with New York Fashion Week, these are not just for apparel. These hues will be on small gifts like coasters, to décor and pillows, to walls and more. Use the color formulas and samples provided to help splash a bit of spring growth into your business. THOUGHTS FROM PANTONE The Pantone Color Institute color experts note the colors for spring/summer 2020 New York are "friendly and relatable, a palette of colors that conveys a sense of ease. In a statement, Leatrice Eiseman, execu- tive director of the Institute, shared that the colors "express our desire for a sense of the familiar."
