OrderMyGear and Sports Inc. Form Strategic Technology Partnership DALLAS—OrderMyGear, and Sports Inc., the largest sporting goods buying group, team up for an official technology partnership. Ac- cording to an announcement, the investment by Sports Inc. gives team dealers additional access to pre-released OrderMyGear product features and discounts on various services. Travis Elam, director of the team sports divi- sion at Sports Inc., says, "At Sports Inc., we focus on empowering team dealers with increased buying opportunities, dynamic in- dustry relationships, and competitive product trends." Charles River Apparel Adds Building Location SHARON, Mass.—Charles River Apparel secures a long-term lease for additional space to support its business growth. The new space sits strategically next to the company's existing corporate headquarters. It provides additional warehouse, office, and show- room space, allowing for a Charles River Campus setting. The company also plans to use the extra space to support Charles River Cares, the philanthropic division of the company, through charitable fundraising pop-up events like its recent event with Christmas in the City. One of Charles River's key charitable partners, Christmas in the City is a not-for-profit run by volunteers that strives to lessen the impact of homelessness on families and children living in shelters.
