"When UV printing to thin or low-melt plastics without a vacuum table, ensure the print head travels across the entire X-axis by printing a small hairline down the far side of the bed. Albeit a short window, testing shows that this can allow time for the material to cool and may help to keep the material from warping." —Michael Perrelli, Direct Color Systems "Color matching can be a challenge. It is suggested to print out an RGB color palette with the name and hex number. After printing, press the palette to the type of substrate you will be using, such as polyester fabric, hardboard, and/ or metal. Be sure to keep it as a reference, as it will come in handy for picking the right color for your substrates." —Cheryl Kuchek, Just My Imagination DeZigns Inc. IMAGE COURTESY CONDÉ SYSTEMS
