110 • RV PRO • March 2020 rv-pro.com RV I N S I G H T LCI Promotes Boessler to Senior VP of Aftermarket Lippert Components has promoted Mark Boessler to the role of senior vice presi- dent of aftermarket. In his new role, Boessler will lead the company's RV and marine aftermarket oper- ations as well as all ecom- merce and alternate market channels. He will continue to develop teams and work to position all LCI products within their respective after- market channels. Boessler was previously the company's vice president of aftermarket. "Mark has been an integral part of our organization for many years, and I'm thrilled to see him take on this important role," said Jason Lippert, LCI's CEO. "His many talents and industry experience will take our aftermarket operations to the next level." B e fo re j o i n i n g LC I , Boessler spent more than 20 years in the RV industry, including 17 years with Forest River, where he oversaw the production and product development of a fifth wheel RV brand, and three years with EverGreen RV, where he served as president and COO. Boessler was also LCI's after- market awning director, where he helped develop and grow the Solera brand of awnings and awning accessories. Since joining LCI three years ago, Boessler has continually worked with LCI's R&D departments to help develop the Solera brand of awning products. He also has helped support the product development process. Tom Manning Adds Willes to Sales Team Tom Manning and Asso- ciates has added Mark Willes to its sales team. Willes brings more than 15 years of experience in the RV aftermarket to Tom Manning and Associates (TMA). "With Mark's background, he will be able to make an imme- diate contribution to the overall success of our company," said Tom Manning, president of TMA. "Our entire team and the suppliers we represent are extremely pleased to have Mark join us as his knowledge and experience represent the core principles that have made us successful." Willes began his career as a manufacturer's representative in 2005. The next year, Willes began his career in the aftermarket distribution sector. He served in several different positions with Carter Distributing, NTP Distribution and most recently Keystone Automotive Operations as its category manager for towing. Willes Rademacher Joins KOA Conversions Team Chris Rademacher, cur- rent owner of the Des Moines West KOA Holiday in Iowa, will be joining the Kampgrounds of America System Develop- ment staff as the new fran- chise development manager. Rademacher and his wife, Jamie, bought the Des Moines West KOA Holiday in 2011 and turned the park into one of the top award-winning camp- grounds in the 524-location KOA system in North America. Leveraging KOA's brand, pro- cedures and practices, the Rademachers were able to quadruple income at the Des Moines West KOA Holiday in the nine years they have owned the park. Registration for RVDA Expo Opens in March Registration for the 2020 RV Dealers Convention Expo opens in March. The event will take place Nov. 9-13 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and will celebrate its 50th anniversary. The RV Dealers Association, the RV Learning Center and the Convention/Expo Committee are working hard to bring attendees a fantastic convention, RVDA recently stated. Thor Subsidiary to Sell European-Designed RVs in U.S. THOR Industries has formed Hymer USA, a new subsidiary focused on producing and mar- keting RVs utilizing European manufacturing practices, automation and control standards – a first for North America's RV industry. Hymer USA will be based in Bristol, Ind., with initial product availability expected in the fourth quarter of calendar year 2020. The announcement follows THOR's 2019 acquisition of Europe's Erwin Hymer Group (EHG), which created the world's largest RV manufacturer, holding leading positions on both continents. Erwin Hymer Group is a long- standing leader in the European RV market and one of the largest RV manufacturers in Europe. "We anticipate significant benefits in working together with our German team, learning from each other and, ultimately, offering unique prod- ucts to provide years of enjoyable experiences for our customers," said Bob Martin, president and CEO of THOR Industries. "As we begin to leverage the combined talent of our companies and share best practices across the globe, we are more optimistic than ever about the future." Initial phases of the EHG acquisition integra- tion have been completed with the oversight of Troy James, THOR Industries senior vice pres- ident. James has spent considerable time in Europe over the past year engaging with the EHG leadership team, will take on the additional responsibility of overseeing Hymer USA. Rademacher
