Unfortunately, that kind of connection is tough to main- tain when RVers venture off the beaten path, in wooded or hilly areas that are miles away from cell towers, which is exactly what RVing is about for many campers. The device is specif- ically designed to boost and extend a cell signal up to 32 times, providing greater cov- erage and speeds for mobile applications. Notably, KING Extend suppor ts all U.S. cellular carriers. "We call it provider agnostic – it works with all of them," says Marc Lubker, director of aftermarket sales, retail chan- nels, for KING. Also notably, Lubker says Extend doesn't require internet service to work, has no monthly fees, and supports mul- tiple cellular devices on multiple carriers simultaneously. Extend offers 3G, 4G and LTE coverage. The three primary components of the Extend include the outside antenna (7.5 inches by 2.6 inches by 2.6 inches), the signal booster (6.25 inches by 4.5 inches by 1 inch) and the inside antenna (5.25 inches by 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches). "It's a tuned antenna that's specifically designed for a small space, so it's great for RVs," Lubker says of the product, which also comes equipped with a mounting bracket and ladder or pole mounting hardware for versatile mounting options, as well as 20 feet of cable and an AC/DC power supply. Powered by weBoost, KING touts Extend as having been KING Extend LTE/ Cell Signal Booster Mark Lubker, KING director of aftermarket sales, retail channels, shows off the company's Extend LTE/Cell Signal Booster at the Arrow show. independently tested and delivering proven quality that is trusted by first responders on the job. KING officially launched Extend in September. Based upon the standing-room-only crowd attending the supplier's educa- tional seminar at the Arrow Exhibitors' Showcase and the orders subsequently placed with him at his booth, Lubker says dealers clearly see the value of the cell signal booster. What impressed RV PRO: Extend is exactly the kind of product many RVers are looking for today, as their excursions take them off the beaten path but they still want to be able to connect to the outside world. Given KING's lengthy track record of producing reliable satellite and over-the-air antennas, as well as Wi-Fi products for the RV market, the company has the chops and the know-how to deliver what those customers want.
