Check out these quick tips from A&E's panel of experts for some easy things you can do to keep things running smoothly. "For someone looking to get into graphic design that wants to teach them- selves, the best way to learn and get better at graphic design is by doing. Set a goal to learn one new element per day about the design software that you work with. It could be a tool or even one single aspect of a tool (often times they do multiple things). When first starting, focus on the basics of design. Things like how to move, rotate, zoom, and align your design elements. If you are working in a photo editing software, a good place to start is how to resize, crop, and align photos and add filter effects. This is not true.
