Foam Board Options UltraBoard manufactures a foam board product called UltraBoard Mount, specifically engineered for mounted prints and ideal for shops that have not yet invested in a direct-to- substrate printer and rely instead on roll-to-roll printing. Mount is faced with polymer-coated paper and is available with a self- stick adhesive that adheres printed items onto the foam board. Other options include the UltraBoard Plus, a foam board with a polyvinyl chloride, PVC, facer, and the UltraBoard Classic and Core, which feature styrene and clay-coated paper facers, also available with self-stick adhesives. The UltraBoard Classic is a foam board with a polystyrene plastic front and back and foam board in the middle. It has a lifespan of up to 10 years and, as an all plastic board, is ideal for more humid conditions. It's also UltraBoard's top-selling product that works well with digital and latex or UV inkjet printing. UltraBoard's White DP is, like the name says, ideal for digital printing. It has a paper surface with polymer coating, presenting a smooth surface and white point that provide excellent printing results. The UltraBoard Aluminum is a foam board product with anodized aluminum facing for routed letters and logos and that has a brushed or polished metal look.
