Interest in employment in manufacturing also is identified as a challenge among the women who participated in the survey (46 percent). The nature of the work (43 percent) and finding qualified candidates (37 percent) also represent challenges in hiring more women in the RV industry. Close to half of those employed in the manufacturing sector identify the nature of the work as a challenge (45 percent). Women are least likely to say that the nature of the work represents a barrier to hiring more women within the industry. Industry Positioning Based on the feedback from RV industry staff, there is room for improvement in terms of being positioned for handling economic and industry changes that is directly attributed to the composition of their workforce.
