Habe points out that "Customers can do whatever their creativity and digitizing skills allow from color changes, funky threads, size changes, text personalization, and adding or delet- ing design elements. Most stock companies will give out specific machine file formats (e.g., dst, pes, vp3), which means a lot of limitations for the embroiderer. It's a huge advantage when the stock company does modifications for the customer like we do, at nominal or no charge." In fact, the folks at Quality Collection encourage customers to change the designs they purchase.
