48 • RV PRO • July 2020 RV PRO SPECIAL SECTION Good Deeds Amid COVID-19 CDK Offers Free, Reduced Price DMS Solutions to Partners The CDK Global team tackled the COVID-19 response by looking toward the health and success of its dealer network. CDK is a provider of dealer management solutions for the RV industry. President and CEO Brian Krzanich sent a letter detailing CDK's efforts to help its partners. "For the CDK team, our North Star is truly the sustained health and success of our dealer network," he wrote. "As such, today we are announcing some significant changes to our billing for the month of April that will help us all get through the COVID-19 crisis." All layered applications for CDK products were free to customers for the month of April. That included products like like CRM, Loyalty, Texting, Locator and more. New solution purchases were not a requirement to receive this offer on the products dealers currently use. All DMS and DMS-related products were reduced by 25 percent. This included required products like Hosting, Pricebooks, EPC integration, and more. "I don't think any of us could have ever imagined that this is where we would be and what we would be doing, but what I am witnessing is remarkable," Krzanich wrote. "We are learning to think differently about how we support one another, our businesses, and our local communities. While these times may seem bleak, I know these clouds will lift, and together we will emerge stronger and better, having trusted each other and joined forces to overcome what we face today." Lance Camper Donates PPE to Area Hospital Lance Camper, an RV manufacturer and REV Group company based in Lancaster, Calif., has donated the company's available supply of PPE to the Antelope Valley Regional Hospital serving East Los Angeles County and the cities of Palmdale and Lancaster. "Our initial focus was to protect the health and wellbeing of Lance's 500-plus associates and fam- ilies," says Matt Buckman, vice president and gen- eral manager at Lance. "With the successful imple- mentation of an emergency action plan, the focus turned toward our suppliers, customers and local community. The widely publicized shortage of PPE was Lance's opportunity to support the courageous first responders and medical professionals within our Antelope Valley Community. As a safety-conscious manufacturer, we had many of the needed PPE items on hand, and the Lance Leadership Team was eager to donate these critically needed resources." The Antelope Valley Regional Hospital was con- tacted and a plan to transfer the critically needed supplies was coordinated and completed. "We are so grateful to Lance Camper for their generous donation of PPE to be used by our staff in this critical time as we continue to ramp up the battle against COVID-19 in the Antelope Valley," Antelope Valley Hospital said in a prepared statement. Lance Camper's Darrin Miller (left) and Carlos Quintanilla assisted with the transfer of PPE to the local hospital.
