One of the biggest challenges the group had was the complete shutdown of RV sales. PRVCA, along with its lobbyists, worked with the governor's policy director to allow for online sales, which helped many dealers continue with sales, if only on a limited basis. Creating an e-notary process allowed dealers to take sales online and allow for delivery, or pickup, of units. PRVCA has also helped dealers work with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development to get waivers for sales to frontline workers. Members also have been encouraged to reach out to their local state representatives to voice their support of bills such as HB2388, which gives waivers to dealers across the state of Pennsylvania. P R V C A h a s p r o v i d e d legislators' contact information as well as suggested wording for members to use when voicing their support of such legislation. Some dealers are in areas that have moved to "yellow", which means they are allowed to do "by-appointment sales." PRVCA has provided all the necessary guidelines dealers need to follow in order to operate their business safely. RV PRO SPECIAL SECTION July 2020 • RV PRO • 73
