Another frame option is a t-stake style frame. These work for single-sided signs and stand taller with options from 42, 48, and 60 inches tall. We typically use a 3/4- inch angle iron option, but there are also plastic options available too. PRICING For the corrugated plastic signs, we've split our pricing into two different types. One type is for screen-printed signs, which we use a wholesale screen printer for. The other price option is for in-house printed graphics applied to corrugated plastic. We go the screen-printed route when a customer is needing 10 or more signs, de- pending on the size, and is looking for the most economical option. The turnaround time is still generally quick, so it doesn't slow our production time, but it does allow us to offer a cost-effective option. If the customer is only wanting a couple signs, we print, laminate, and apply the graphics to corrugated plastic sheets in- house. The signs are a bit more durable with the laminated graphics, but they're also more expensive because of the process. Generally, if we're doing a metal framed sign or metal t-stake sign, then the custom- er does fewer signs at a time. For these, we print the graphics in-house and apply them to an aluminum composite material. As with all of our pricing, we quote our signs based on the total square footage of the order. So, if the customer is ordering one sign, they'll pay a higher price per square foot than if they're ordering 10 signs. SPECIALTY We have friends who own a local busi- ness called Sign Dreamers - Central Val- ley, which offers specialty yard signs for various celebrations. These are typically for residential applications celebrating birth- days, graduations, new babies, or other an- nouncements. They can also be used for commercial announcements as well. During the CO- VID-19 pandemic, these styles of signs are often seen announcing messages such as Heroes Work Here, We Love Our Stu- dents/Teachers, or a similar statement. Made from the same 4-mil corrugated plastic, the signs are printed full-color and are contour cut to shape. The individual letters and objects (like stars, cakes, sports equipment, etc.) are displayed to create a gi- ant message across the customer's lawn. Unlike our purchased signs, these are rented by the customer for one to two days. The company comes out and installs the message, leaves it up for a specified number of days, and then returns to remove it after the celebration. The versatility of corrugated plastic makes these types of signs economical and light- weight. There are many different companies that offer these rented signs, and they are a great use of the idea behind yard signs.
