I t's a long, hard road to build a print- ing business—and we know, because we've built one too. But you've finally achieved success; you've found your niche, you're offering quality products to a dedicated customer base, and now you're eyeing the best ways to grow. Where are you going to find that sustainable growth that takes your profits up a few notches? Something (and this is key) that's both safe and secure? The answer can be found among the trade printing—or wholesale printing— industry. Trade printers are there to help indus- try professionals like yourself expand your business with exciting new product lines and services, services that would cost you too much to provide yourself but minus the added liabilities. These are services that will grow both your profits and your cus- tomer base. Your brick-and-mortar establishment is only so big. Depending on your current situation, there may not be a way that you could find both the money and the space to introduce specialty presses and the tens of thousands of dollars worth of other printing equipment. But why would you want to when a trade printer already has made those investments? Which all leads to the million-dollar question: why not just work together? If you haven't seen the array of what trade printers bring to the table, the va- riety is vast. Most of them offer every- thing from large-for- mat goods like huge outdoor banners to packaging products.
