Paint Expertise Drives Quality & Recognition Three of the new facility's bays are state-of-the-art AFC Finishing Systems paint booths, which spray Axalta coatings. Danny Wolfe says that in 2019, Diver- sified became the largest independent commercial shop in the U.S. for Axalta in terms of square footage and paint used. "We're built on a higher-quality plat- form, so we want to be the best and pro- duce the best work with the best guarantee, which is why we've always used Axalta, even after testing other brands," he says. "It has the best warranty, is the most durable for what we do, and allows us to accurately match challenging vehicle colors." Cataldo adds, "Everyone here is a spe- cialist in the type of work they perform. Certain manufacturers use various paints, but our painters make their lines absolutely perfect and get the colors to match – that's what they do, that's what they excel in. If there's an issue getting an exact match, Axalta comes in and assists." The service shop also handles all of Eart- Roamer's consignment vehicles. "If an EarthRoamer customer upgrades, then the manufacturer will also bring us the used unit to bring it up to 'like new' specifications for resale in regard to paint," says Danny Wolfe, adding that the ser- vice shop receives about one unit every two weeks. This big rig is in for repairs after it jackknifed, a common repair for the service shop, according to Danny Wolfe.
