Whether you're learning a new technique, embellishing a substrate you've not previously worked on, or even learning a new skill within a design program, the how-to question is one that all of us are familiar with. This is especially true in today's current climate. Many graphics professionals have had to learn new technologies or how to produce different substrates such as face masks, face shields, and safety signage. On top of that, most have had to learn new business practices, such as setting up online stores. Since its launch several months ago, how-to's and tutorials have been a major focus for GRAPHICS PRO. The columnists, guest writers, and information shared have one common goal: to connect our readers with the knowledge they need to be successful, however that may look. While every issue will answer a how-to question in some form, this particular month is special. Each article is zeroed in on a specific how-to question: how to accomplish perfect stage carving, how to design properly for efficient wrap installation, how to select the best substrate for the job… the list goes on.
