This 2019 Jeep JLUR was created by LINE-X of Knoxville and includes a 6.2L Hellcat Hemi conversion and an exterior sprayed in LINE-X ULTRA. Seville's AJ Reid was a semi-finalist in last year's 2019 SEMA Launchpad competition for GloTrim lighting products. The concept of the custom glass-top van was to create a unique dual experience. By day, this build has a timeless, luxury-styled pleated interior that geometrically flows with the exterior color and custom body panels. At night, with the flip of a switch using LEDs and GloTrim flexible glass light guides sewn into much of the soft trim surfaces and incorporating aviation elements like the 8-foot overhead color- changing fiber optic runners, you are transported into the future. "Capturing the nostalgic throwback to the classic 1970s shaggin' wagons and balancing it with how we envision the future of ambient automotive interior lighting was a challenge that we took head-on, and are very happy with the results," says Reid. Jay Jansen is the van owner and fabricator. Interior specialists include Reid, Thomas Schrammel and Carl V.
