62 THE SHOP NOVEMBER 2020 2020 PROJECT VEHICLE SKETCHBOOK 1949 Power Wagon Legacy Classic Trucks' latest restoration is a 1949 four-door Legacy Power Wagon made for summer excursions. "The classic Dodge Power Wagons are just amazing trucks, and they are absolute smile magnets when other drivers see them out on the open road. This is the truck that helped build all the bridges, dams and roads out West that everyone road-trips across during the summertime season," says Winslow Bent, Legacy founder. "We've had Power Wagons that we've restored that have served in World War II. The best part about a Legacy Power Wagon build is that drivers get all the good looks of a classic restoration without any of the hassles. Drivers won't have any trouble driving this truck out on the street, highway or off-road. It can do anything." The truck is outfitted with a twin-turbo Cummins 4BT 8-valve turbo diesel engine capable of producing 350 hp. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Upgrades include Dana 60 and axles, ARB locking differentials and WARN locking hubs and winch, Toyo Tires 40-inch tires, bead- lock wheels, a Bluetooth stereo, brand-new HVAC system, USB charging ports and more. British Defender Twisted offers its NA-V8 British Defender custom lineup, including soft top, station wagon, double cab and pickup body variants, and an all-electric version. Featuring an LT1 engine and plenty of interior, exterior and convenience enhancements including progressive suspension, performance braking and switchable exhaust system, the NA-V8 is designed as the ultimate expression of SUV individuality. "The United States market has come to a point where rugged, luxury SUVs from Germany and across Europe are a dime a dozen. The Twisted NA-V8 lineup is comprised of completely unique vehicles—with the soul of the timeless British Defender—that stand out with unrivaled levels of prestige, interior/exterior design possibilities tailored for any personality and immense attention to detail across every element of the machine," says Tom Maxwell, managing partner & CEO, Twisted North America. Jeep LJ Safari TNT Customs shares this Jeep LJ Safari, showcasing the company's LJ long-arm suspension; fenders, corners and sliders; front and rear bumpers; and tire carrier. Powered by a 5.7L LS1, it features a Toyota Blue LINE-X ULTRA finish and LINE-X XS-100 coating inside and on the underside. Other highlights are a custom roof rack with ladder, custom interior cage, custom exhaust and custom center console.
