Taken down to the frame, the restoration includes a full revamp of the suspension including adding a 2-inch lift and new Terrafirma shocks, springs, steering stabilizer and heavy-duty track rod, plus drag links. With an LS3 reaching 465 hp and a 6L80E transmission, the Defender boasts plenty of highlights such as: a MagnaFlow exhaust; Alcantara suede headliner; Kenwood stereo with DVD, Bluetooth, navigation, Apple CarPlay, and back-up camera; 10-speaker JL Audio sound system and more. "We've rebuilt this truck from the ground up with all the finest components and finishes," says Aaron Richardet, owner and founder. "This includes a GM LS engine, automatic transmission, custom paint, and much, much more. This vehicle is actually more capable off-road while looking and feeling much more luxurious than the original." 1997 Land Rover d90 NAS Station Wagon Osprey Custom Cars has a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) to build, from the ground up, replicated models of older- model Land Rovers. One such project is a brand-new build of a 1997 Land Rover d90 NAS Station Wagon. Featuring a 5.3L GM LC9 V-8 with 326 hp and 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission with Camaro-style shifter, it includes a long list of customized features that retain the classic look of the original model while adding modern performance, speed and convenience. "We built this for a customer who had one of the original '97 Defender Arles Blue station wagons," says Aaron Richardet, owner and founder of Osprey Custom Cars. "He missed it but wanted to modernize the vehicle with modern comfort items. We got creative on the interior, making it a comfortable car for the family."
